Future Anecdotes is an artist book containing three interconnected stories. The books, as the stories, are bound together. The self-reflexive narrative is constantly referencing the physical book itself, in which the identity of the protagonist shifts from the “sound of the turning pages” to “page numbers” and other silent/invisible elements of a book.

“Future Anecdotes” is an edition of 25, written and made by Asli Altay. It was first exhibited in the Courtauld Institute in a group show “Blink Cut Repeat” curated by Sam Winston and one of the editions’ is in Tate Modern’s artists’ book collection, in London.
