Jotun has sponsored artist Emel Kurhan for two personal city guides for Istanbul and Paris. We have collaborated with Emel on the design of her two cheerful guides. She has made “petit point” labels for each neighbourhood in Istanbul that we have used on our collages. She has also wrote all of her notes by hand throughout the book. Jotun commissioned an animation which captures the sprit of “making the book” and lovely Emel herself, you can watch the video below. The city guides can be purchased from Beymen Blender, Midnight Express & Delicatessen in Istanbul or Colette in Paris.
